Give Thanks

W.E.e. have a lot to be thankful for! One of those blessings is you, our family and friends, who encourage and love us. In this holiday season, we treasure time with family as we truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast and fun times at GiGi and Papa's house.

Fun this Fall

Fall is a fun time of year! Here is a picture of our neighborhood play group at Evergreen Farms. In the Fall they have a "Pumpkin Hunt" and in the Winter they offer Christmas trees.

Happy Halloween Birthday

Halloween is such a special day for us! With a birthday and costume party all in one day, we all slept great last night! Did you know that giraffes like chocolate??

Ethan has been very busy experiencing the fun of Fall. He is into learning new things, talking more and more, and playing hard each day. Along with preschool, we are enjoying a weekly playdate at Pfluger park with neighborhood friends. Here are a few pictures of his latest adventures!

He got back to preschool today after being off last week and his report card said the following:

Mood: Happy
Asleep at 1:20-2
Had fun at playground
Ate some of his food but mostly his friend's food!!

Preschool is Cool

The time has come for Ethan's first day of preschool at our church. We have been anticipating this awesome opportunity for him at the Pecan Street Preschool! Do you think he is ready to go?? If he could only turn the knob...

Labor Day at the Lake

We recently ventured to Canyon Lake to be with GiGi aka "Gee Gee" and PaPa aka "Paw Paw." We enjoyed the quick escape and beautiful scenery of the Texas hill country.

Check out Ethan waving to the many deer that were grazing on corn. As you will note, we also dined well that evening. The menu entailed steak, lobster, grilled veggies, potatoes, and stir-fried greens. PaPa is an amazing chef! Look below to see who is just like PaPa reading the paper and watching 'toons.

Summer, Slides, and School

It has been a little while since our last post. A lot has happened around our world. We recently took a trip to South Padre Island with our families. It was a direct, 1-hour flight out of Austin into Harlingen and a 45 minute car ride to our destination of the Suntide III resort. What a wonderful time we had! A lot of firsts for Mr. E: first plane ride, first beach excursion, first time riding the waves, building sand castles, and playing in the sand. Check out the pictures from our fun in the sun and sand!

For some, it was the last weekend of summer. The beaches were pretty packed but this provided for lots of people watching!

Ethan had his 18 month appointment and was told by the doctor that he is going to be, "scouted out by Mac Brown" due to his great stats. They are:

Weight: 30 lbs 7 oz; 93%

"Snurgling" with Daddy

We have recently found the coolest place in town. It is a bounce house called Kidz 'n' Play. We have taken many friends and family and have enjoyed jumping, sliding, and bouncing together! Let us know if you want to meet up for a play date. You cannot beat the indoor gym with over 5 inflatable playhouses.

GrandBob's birthday celebration
