THE BIG BLUE SPONGE STICKER
It’s 2011, the good, old summertime
Ethan’s potty training has been most sublime.
He’s mastered the art of being diddie-free
Saving mama and dad sooo much money.
As we all must remember, he is only two
So today he decided to try something “new.”
His love of stickers on body they go
But he opted to put one where it wouldn’t show.
The sneezes began, quite often repeated
As mama did research to find out the reason.
Up in his nostril, his mama did spot
A half of blue sponge that was up there and caught.
It was most alarming and Ethan would not
Allow mama get it, they both were quite fraught.
So off to the pedi they left in a bound
And the sponge was retrieved with Ethan held down.
No harm done, all’s well, no doubt one of those
Stories about Ethan and how much his nose knows!

Your talent is awesome and hilarious were those lines
I’d say Ethan is lucky to have a Gigi who shines
After all, we know he is loved from his head to his toes
In spite of the obstacles that invaded his nose!
His poor mama who had to get help in a rush
Is probably exhausted and turned into mush
(sorry, I’m not as good at this as you are!!!)
But the stories there will be, for the rest of his life
Will surely entertain his kids and his wife!!
We’re proud of Ethan and his potty trained skills
Which, you are right, will help with the bills.
Ethan is fortunate to have such a special Gig
Who took time to write, even tho she is leaving for Figi
(just try to rhyme something with San Francisco!!)
